Private Practice Party MC: Christopher Scott of Hip Hop Social Worker

Private Practice Party MC: Christopher Scott of Hip Hop Social Worker

I heard about Christopher through his podcast the Hip Hop Social Worker, and asked him to come MC our event. He’s got a lot of interesting and important projects around social work, race, oppression, and working with youth in the justice system. I’m excited for you all to get to know him and learn about his work.

Meet Christopher:

A. Tell us a bit about you/your work:

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I am currently working for the State of Oregon (Oregon Youth Authority) as a Behavioral health Consultant and I am also a contractor with the Portland Public School District as therapist at elementary school.

B. What are your goals for your work?

My goal is to have a private practice one day, be a consultant and public speaker. To be in control of how my day looks so I can spend more time with my family while still being able to provide.

C. What are some of your current projects?

Working on the hip hop social worker podcast and currently trying build up another show called “Let’s check in” with my fellow social worker Ramon.

Christopher will be opening and closing our event, and will be available for questions and more. His perspective, experience and thoughts can help you build a more inclusive, well-informed business. Drop your questions below!
