Our groups focus on developing a clinical foundation built on the common factors, and we always have a monthly topic (see here). I also encourage each person to have 1-2 modalities to specialize in. Additionally, we use trauma-informed, humanistic, anti-oppressive frameworks while studying various approaches, including Solutions-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, PolyVagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, ethics, the DSM-5 and more.
