Therapy for Business Owners

I love working with business owners. I love humans who are so innovative and creative and driven, so much so that you are willing to build a business.

I also realize that there are very specific challenges that come with building a business. Self-confidence. Boundaries. Ongoing decision-making. Isolation. Pressure. It’s so incredibly intense.

As a business owner (check out my other business here), I’ve experienced a lot of this myself; and as a therapist, I’d love to support you in working through the ongoing challenges.

My approach is trauma-informed and anti-oppressive. Some of the modalities, frameworks and strategies I use include: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Self-Compassion and Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory-- all with a humanistic lens. But I’m willing to throw the more formal therapeutic approaches out if we find something else that works better for you (say, writing poems, taking a drawing class, riding horses, yoga, getting a dog, lifting weights, future journaling, neurofeedback, breathwork, dance, connecting with culture, or acupuncture). I’ll help you connect with what works best.

Cost for individual therapy is $200/hr. I am not in-network with insurances, but can give you an invoice to submit to your insurance provider (if you have out of network benefits). You can also use HSA/FSA funds. Sessions are via Hipaa-compliant video. If you are interested in therapy, shoot me an email: hello@arianalloydlcsw.com, or book a conversation.
