Holiday Fundraiser and A Free Private Practice Workshop!

Want to support your community AND learn about how to start a private practice? It’s all happening here (and by here I mean online) on Tuesday December 15, 6-7pm. My beloved colleague Andrea Redeau and I (under my Lloyd Collective umbrella) will be discussing how to financially prepare for and sustain a private practice. Andrea and I are both passionate about business, clinical excellence, and helping more clinicians enter the private practice realm.

JOIN is a radical, anti-oppressive, housing focused non-profit in Portland that has done so much good for our community. As this year comes to an end, so many of our fellow community members are suffering from the economical impact of COVID. They could use our support to pay rent, buy food, and *hopefully* buy a gift for a loved one.

The first half of the workshop will be spent in presentation from Andrea and I on the financial aspects of practice, and 6:30-7pm will be an open question and answer period, all questions welcome. We’ll also be briefly sharing about our own work, including Andrea’s upcoming training here and her mission to get more Black therapists in private practice, and my 8-week program to help more liberation-focused clinicians enter the business world.

The fee to this workshop is a pay-what-you-can donation to JOIN. We’ll pause in the middle of the training for folks to make a donation. Sign up here!
